About Us

Modern Skills is a division of Applied Behavior Technologies, LLC a privately owned and operated ABA practice. Focusing on social skills, independence, family dynamics, caregiver support and training and other necessary skills to succeed, we provide direct services to individuals on the autism spectrum as well as other individuals who may or may not have a diagnosis.

We take pride in our staff, caregiver, peer, and teacher training curriculums, as well as our various individualized skills training programs for individuals. We are proud to be a pioneer in offering group social skills training developed from the most up-to-date evidence-based ABA practices.

Our Modern Skills division, with care delivered through telehealth, allows us to scale our impact across the country outside our physical practice area. This division allows our skilled, professionally recognized practitioners to connect with families across the US, providing individuals with autism the tools to tolerate uncomfortable emotions and sensations, build rapport with others, communicate effectively, and set and achieve social goals.

Our process starts with a 30-minute phone consultation to determine fit for the program. From there, a behavioral analyst determines which assessments will be conducted if the client is a good fit for a social group at that time. After completing assessments and BCBA meetings, the client will be placed in the appropriate social group.
